The Rimlab workshops are part of a larger project called Finlandia 2.1. Finland is changing fast, and in this project young people provide a Finland-update in the form of new songs. The project publishes both the songs and a series of short documentaries as well as various forms of materials produced by or in cooperation with young people.
Finlandia 2.1 is coordinated by Public Information Cultural Factory, and more information about the project can be found on the webpage www.tiuku.info. Cooperation partners are: Finnish Youth Research Network, Helsinki Youth Department, Svenska Nu, Nuori Kulttuuri -Foundation, Nuoren Voiman Liitto, Verkkonuorisotyön valtakunnallinen kehittämiskeskus VERKE, The Finnish-Swedish Youth Association and Plan Finland’s project “Matkalla”. The project is funded by Finnish Cultural Foundation (Uusimaa Regional Fund) and by the Swedish Cultural Foundation in Finland.
